A sovereign of short distances
Larpoleon
One lawn. One ruler. Absolutely no negotiations.
Royal Competencies
His Majesty governs one secured patch of grass from a stick horse, inspecting borders at boot height, promoting flowerpots, and reserving the afternoon for ceremonies nobody was invited to attend.
Land Office
Measures the realm in proud, inaccurate strides.
Cavalry
Horse is wooden. Command remains absolute.
Foreign Policy
The neighboring hedge has received a stern look.
The First Acre
At noon, Larpoleon planted one boot beside the path and declared the visible grass an empire. The dandelions were appointed ministers, the garden rake became artillery, and a laundry peg marked the eastern frontier. No resident objected, partly because the decree was delivered with excellent posture and partly because everyone else was indoors.
The empire ends at the flowerbed.
